Welcome to True Gamer's Webpage!
This webpage will be mostly news-based. Most of my info is gotten from WolfLink22 and his site: zelda101.com. Game Systems Taken to School by Gamepro *Blue Stars indicate that news was found by myself (August 21st) This Month's issue of Gamepro magazine grades how the systems do in certain categories. The categories include:
Ok, here is how each system's report card turned out:

With the Wii's controls and Wi-Fi features, Super Mario Mario "Strikers Charged introduces nine sensational new stadiums, plus a host of new characters with their own special abilities and power moves. IGN's Overall Best of E3 2007 (Added July 23) IGN.com has rated games, and a few games have been crowned as one of E3's best. The Legend of Zelda:Phantom Hourglass was crowned the best Adventure game.
Developer:
Nintendo
This DS exclusive is sure to be a great addition to the Legend of Zelda Series. This game is said to have around 60 hours of Zelda gameplay, and is confirmed to have multiplayer Wi-fi. Zelda is not known for multiplayer action as most of you know, and this has only been done twice so far (I believe). This multiplayer mode is inspired by the hardest dungeon in the game. If you wish to see other games that got awarded by IGN as E3's best, check them out here: http://games.ign.com/articles/806/806770p1.html
No Big News Out There... (Added July 18) I was planning on putting a new update this week, but nothing good seems to be out there news-wise. I hope Nintendo releases more news soon. But on an unrelated news, today some hyrule.net members (including myself) decided to spread some light on Landofthelegend.net with the truth of hyrule.net's hystory. Many people from lotl (land of the legend) are pinning blame on dustin what hapened, yet he's the one who got backstabbed, and got his money stolen. For more informatio on this, check hyrule.net's forums-Open Floor-Talk.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Added July 7th) *This news was also found by yours truly. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the final installment in the Prime series, yet don't think it will be the last Metroid game to be made. During the course of this game, The Galactic Federation's Base Sector Zero is under attack by Space Pirates. Samus is ordered to boot up the generator's thus putting up the defense systems back online. However, along the way, she will meet up with old foes like the the Space Pirates, Dark Samus, and even Ridley. Not much is yet known on where Samus will explore ouside the Galactic Federation bases. Also, it seems that Samus will get help by another bounty hunter that was (I think) in Metroid Prime: Hunters. More info will be added to this probably be E3, though.
Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s (Added July 6th) *I took the liberty of finding this news for myself. =] Guitar Hero Encore:Rocks the 80s is the next upcoming Guitar Hero game, scheduled for a release by July 24th. This game is not entirely new, however, with returning characters and venues from the last installment in the series- Guitar Hero 2. Though, each character has been given new outfits, to make them look as if they were in the 80s. That's not all-each venue has got that same feel as well. This game is sure to rock you back to the 80s with some new tracks that come from bands like The Police, Poison, X, and much, much more. Here is the list of the revealed tracks so far:
Be sure to check back in soon, if you are interested about hearing the brand new Guitar Hero 3!

Small Update To make the site a little more appealing, I will begin adding a few pictures of Nintendo characters to make the site a little more appealing. =] A URUGUAYAN COUNTERFEITER IS ORDERED TO PAY NINTENDO 2.5 MILLION U.S. DOLLARS "Montevideo, Uruguay, July 5, 2007
- A Uruguayan Civil Court Judge recently ordered a major counterfeiter of Nintendo video game products to pay Nintendo 2.5 million U.S. dollars in damages and legal expenses. The Court determined that the offender and three of his related corporations, were responsible for the sale and distribution of tens of thousands of counterfeit In 2001, the National Board of Intelligence raided four retail shops and a warehouse, seizing seven truck loads of counterfeit Nintendo video game products in Montevideo. Approximately 30,000 counterfeit Nintendo products were confiscated and valued at over one million US dollars. The seizure was reportedly the largest carried out in Uruguay of counterfeit video game products. A principal owner was identified for both the retail shops and the warehouse. Following the seizure, the owner was criminally charged with trademark counterfeiting. Curiously, the criminal trial ended in 2003 with the granting of an unexplained executive pardon or "gracia". In addition to the criminal charges, Nintendo filed a civil action against the owner and his businesses, claiming he was selling and distributing counterfeit Nintendo products on a large scale, obtaining sizeable profits, and damaging Nintendo's reputation. After years of litigation, Nintendo applauds the Court's decision as it serves as an extraordinary example of justice against intellectual property crimes. Nintendo is pleased that this major counterfeiter will finally have to pay for his illegal activities." --Nintendo Press Room

LIKE SANDS THROUGH THE HOURGLASS, ZELDA'S DEBUT ON NINTENDO DS APPROACHES "REDMOND, Wash., July 2, 2007 – What do you get when you combine the world's best-selling video game system, the Nintendo DS™, with one of Nintendo's best-loved franchises, Zelda? An epic new adventure that satisfies longtime fans but draws in new players with intuitive touch-screen controls. Launching Oct. 1, The Legend of Zelda®: Phantom Hourglass, complete with crisp 3-D cartoon graphics and multiplayer battles over Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection, marks the debut of the franchise on Nintendo DS™. "Since 1987 The Legend of Zelda franchise has sold more than 52 million units worldwide," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass stays true to the richness of the console Zelda franchise while introducing new controls that allow veterans and first-time gamers to become fully immersed in the adventure." The game involves legendary hero Link and Tetra, the leader of a band of pirates, as they discover a ghost ship in dense fog. Link falls into the ocean when Tetra gets into trouble, and he wakes up alone on the shore of a mysterious island. Throughout the game, Link collects sand for his Phantom Hourglass, which allows him to explore deeper and deeper into a time-limited dungeon in his quest to find Tetra. You can play the entire game with only the Nintendo DS touch screen. Walk up to characters and tap them to start a conversation. Slash your stylus across the touch screen to swing Link's sword. If players touch an enemy with the stylus, Link attacks. Players can even navigate their ship or set a route for their boomerang simply by drawing a path on the touch screen. The robust single-player adventure will have Zelda veterans and newcomers alike engrossed by the story as they move through the game with the stylus. A special two-player battle mode lets players connect locally or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. One player controls Link as he tries to gather as many Force Gems as possible, while the other player manages the enemies who pursue Link. The replayability of these winner-take-all matches is virtually endless. In both style and characters, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass echoes the smash-hit The Legend of Zelda®: The Wind Waker™ for Nintendo GameCube™, which sold more than 2.2 million in the United States alone. But the inviting, easy-to-understand story and ease of control will attract casual and younger players who might be new to Zelda games. As a special bonus for Nintendo's rewards club, My Nintendo members who register the game and their Nintendo DS hardware at MyNintendo.com and fill out a short survey will receive a special Nintendo DS stylus that looks like an old-fashioned quill pen, modeled after an item in the game (subject to availability). The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass follows hot on the heels of another classic Nintendo franchise with amazing new controls. Metroid® Prime 3: Corruption, the third installment of the hit trilogy, launches with motion-sensitive controls exclusively on Wii™ on Aug. 27.
